Rodney Scotts ($$) - Amazing whole hog SC bbq with a James Beard Award Winning pitmaster

Lewis BBQ ($$) - Best brisket in town

Brown Dog Deli ($-$$)- easy going lunch sandwiches, great cuban.

Blind Tiger Pub ($-$$)- pub fare made in house with an artisanal twist in 1800’s era saloon.

Marina Variety Store($-$$)- Great Seafood for Brunch or Lunch try the alligator shrimp and grits or crab cake egg benedict

Bumpas ($$) - Irish Themed Pub in Historic Warehouse structure, great fried chicken sandwich and local beer selection

Le Farfalle ($$-$$$) - Great italian themed fare, I personally enjoy the blue crab pasta dish

Poogan’s Porch ($$-$$$) - Great southern fare in a generational family operated restaurant in a historic property

Halls Chophouse ($$$ +) - Well known steakhouse, dry aged ribeye is my personal favorites

Grill 225 ($$$ +) - Another great steakhouse however they have amazing crab cakes

The Establishment ($$$ +) -Excellent Seafood Location but please note portion size can be small, usually local sourced fish

Chubby Fish ( $$$) - Reviews speak for themselves, must wait in line

Leons Fried Chicken and Oysters ($$$) - As the name suggest, get the chicken or oysters or both

Mt. Pleasant:

Mozzo Deli ($-$$)- Owner Shannon from NYC has set up an amazing NY style deli for an easy going breakfast or lunch

Graze ($$)- Have had some great breakfast and lunch at this location

NICO ($$-$$$) - My favorite seafood location in Mt. Pleasant and amazing oyster selection

Langdons ($$-$$$) - Great steak location

The Islands:

Folly Beach (pronounced Faa-lee)

Lost Dog Cafe ($-$$) - One of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in all of Charleston

Chico Feo ($-$$) - Great outdoor bar with excellent mahi tacos

Loggerheads ($-$$)- Local low-key bar with decent fried seafood options and pub fare

Isle of Palms

Long Island Cafe ($$)- Possibly my favorite restaurant in all of Charleston in terms of price point/ quality , get the crab encrusted grouper

Acme Lowcountry Kitchen ($$) - My favorite brunch location in all of Charleston for price point/quality

Sullivans Island

Poe’s Tavern ($$) - Great burger joint but gets busy in summer, crab cake burger is my favorites

Obstinate Daughter ($$-$$$) - Great dinner location with variety of choices
